How do I get more information or additional enrollment information?You have a few options:Check out the Applicants page. You will find all of the enrollment documents you will need along with benefit information. Call a Preferred Producer. They are experts and can answer your questions and help with the enrollment process. Go to the Preferred Producer list to find one near you. Call Customer Service at 877-505-0522. They are available Monday through Friday to answer your questions. How do I find the most updated rates for the policies?The rates are here on the website. Click here to find them. You can also call Customer Service at 877-505-0522 and they can answer any questions you may have.Is there dependent coverage available?No. NHHP-Fed plan options do not provide for dependent coverage. However, dependents of qualified applicants may qualify for individual coverage under the plan.Are there waiting periods?No. NHHP-Fed plans do not have any waiting periods for pre-existing conditions.What is the Provider Network?NHHP-Fed uses the First Health Network. Click here to access a complete listing of Network Providers.Foundation Medical Partners and Southern NH Medical Center are also available as an in-network providers for NHHP-Fed. Foundation Medical Partners includes over 195 providers serving the greater Nashua community. What about out-of-network coverage? Is there a problem with someone getting sick outside of NH?First Health Network has a good national network. It should not be a problem finding an in-network provider in NH or nationwide. In case of an emergency, seek care at the closest emergency room.What will the effective date for a new policy be?Policies become effective on the first day of the month following receipt of the completed application. Please be aware that if you are awaiting a letter of denial from an insurance carrier, you can send in all other required documents with the application and include a note stating you are currently waiting for the denial letter. NHHP-Fed will process the application and "hold" an effective date for up to 30 days in order for you to get the denial letter to them. Upon receipt of the denial letter, you should immediately send the copy in so the enrollment process is completed timely.Where do I send an application for processing?BMI (Benefit Management, Inc.)PO Box 1090 Great Bend, Kansas 67530 Who is BMI?BMI is the administrator for NHHP-Fed. They provide customer service to members, prospective members, and producers (insurance brokers). They can be reached at 877-505-0522. |
